About: The Hospital epidemiology and infection prevention annual training module is a mandatory module required of all staff at UCSF Health. This module provides fundamental knowledge on essential best practices for the prevention of infectious diseases transmission while working in the healthcare setting and will also provide guidance on management of occupational health exposures. This training replaces the TEST-OUT and Infection Prevention Training for Physicians, Nurses, and Licensed Independent Contractors (Clinical Staff) and for Ancillary Staff.
