A University of California systemwide certificate program for new or current supervisors and managers, including systemwide eCourses and locally identified courses.

  • Offers easily accessible online courses that are learner-centric and self-paced.
  • Builds on live development sessions.

How to earn this certificate

  • Complete: 16 core courses and 4 elective courses (one from each of 4 elective topic areas).
  • Acquiring the certificate: Upon completion of certificate requirements, you will receive a confirmation email by the next business day. Within 5 business days, your certificate will be noted in your UC Learning Center Transcript.
  • Cost: To provide development opportunities for all UC employees, there is no cost for participants in the certificate program.
