Version for UCSF Campus faculty, staff and students/trainees who are also employees: UC Workplace Violence Prevention Training (estimated duration: 25 minutes).
Version for UCSF Health staff: Workplace Violence Prevention in Healthcare (estimated duration: 35 minutes).
About: UCSF is committed to providing a work environment that is free from harassment, violence and threats of violence. Violence in the workplace is an occupational health and safety hazard that can cause physical and emotional harm. We believe physical and emotional safety is a right and responsibility of every person. California law (CA Labor Code 6401.9) requires UCSF to provide workplace violence prevention awareness training to all employees upon hire and annually thereafter. Its goal is to help members of the UC community understand and report workplace violence, and to be able to recognize and respond to escalating behavior.
