Regulated Waste Disposal
NEW compliance training for UCSF Health staff
At UC Health, we are committed to protecting our patients, staff, and environment by ensuring that regulated waste is handled and disposed of properly. During past audits, hazardous waste, medical waste, and patient health information was found in incorrect disposal streams. Completing this training and applying lessons learned helps reduce these findings, improve compliance, and keep our environment safer for everyone.
If this training requirement applies to you, you are notified via email notifications directly from the UC Learning Center, as with other compliance trainings. This training is designed to be role-specific: for employees who must complete all sections, the course will take approximately 25 minutes; for most others, the training will take under 10 minutes.
