Group Coaching on Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) for leaders at UCSF
DEI-Leadership Group Coaching program is to help managers become more inclusive and impactful leaders at UCSF. We do this by creating time and space for leaders to explore the intra- and interpersonal dynamics of their racial identity and its impact on leadership effectiveness.
Four biweekly facilitated conversations by certified coaches with experience in DEI. The conversations will focus on exploring and building deeper self-awareness of how one’s intersectional identity impacts leadership experience and effectiveness. The series begins with a 90-minute session, followed by three one-hour sessions.
Program Content

Session 1: Relating to Self - Exploring the Skin You're In
Explore your own racial and intersectional identity and how it relates to your leadership experience at UCSF.
Sessions 2, 3, and 4: Relating to Others - Understanding the Dance of Identities
Discuss how to navigate the complex dynamics of identity in the workplace.
Explore how you relate to others and how others relate to you as a leader through the lens of racial identity.

To maximize the benefit of DEI Leadership Group Coaching for everyone, please select and participate in the racial group that you identify with the most. However, all are welcome to choose any group.
