Everyone is invited as a participant in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Annual Healthcare Equality Index to over 50 different online, on-demand CME accredited LGBTQ training options. These are free to each and every UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Health staff. These training options include both interactive eLearning courses and recorded webinars. Topics range from the basics of LGBTQ Patient-Centered Care to more specialized topics for clinicians.
UCSF has been recognized as an HEI leader in cultural awareness and equality for the past 10 years. We need your help to keep UCSF as one of the best places to work and to promote an inclusive environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Each year the Healthcare Equality Index survey asks us to demonstrate that we provide a certain number of hours of education to our staff and facility. Please take advantage of these free classes to educate yourself or heighten your awareness so that we can serve our community to best of our abilities and remain a leader in this area.
UCSF Health is recognized as a Leader in LGBT Healthcare Equality and UCSF Health’s commitment to diversity is exemplified by our PRIDE values.
